I am searching for any and all life history of Reverand Llewllyn Godden(Rector of St. James 1892-1896). He was, I believe, A Grt.Grt Uncle and possible brother or cousin to Rev. John Godden( Harbor Grace- Rev. Don Martin) and possible brother to Rev. Thomas Godden, all of that era. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless All.

I have loved St.James' Church, Channel / PAB. since I was a child . Baptized there, Confirmed there, I was a member of the St. James'Choir first Junior -- and later Senior for several years, until I moved to St. John's in 01'61. Absolutely love to see the postings about St. James' and your superb website showing the services and the many activities. Thank you so much . God Bless you All .

Its been quite a few years since Jean & I moved from Port Aux Basques (1986) but home is home, and our church will always be. My mother Dorothy Law still lives there, and attends regular. Bill & Phyllis Anthony (deceased) my wife Jeans parents belonged to the church as well. When we get home we attend. Excellent web site, long over due. At least we can now make contact, and keep up with the guest book entries, and general information.
Very informative.

What a wonderful site. It must have taken a lot of time and hard work. The Videos are great as of course is the singing. Nice to see Upcoming Events as well. Well organized. Congratulations Hannah!

I was excited to learn that St. James' now has a website! Its been over 5 years since I picked up roots and left Port aux Basques, and as hard as it was to leave family behind and move to Alberta, it was equally as hard leaving my extended family at St. James'. Having been involved in many aspects of the parish, Server, Lay Minister, Synod Delegate, and Mens Choir Member to name a few, I certainly noticed a big change when I left. I always look forward to getting back to St. James' whenever I am home. May God Bless you and keep you all in His loving embrace.
